音樂治療國際盛事--第12屆世界音樂治療會議
三年一度
的世界音樂治療會議於2008年7月於阿根廷舉行，世界各地的音樂治療師均爭取此難得機會，參與這次的音樂治療國際盛事以交流最新的音樂治療的資訊。音樂
治療師伍偉文先生亦參與其中，除了汲取各地音樂治療資訊外，伍先生更有機會於是次會議中以「音
樂治療幫助資優兒童提升個人質素與改善社交關係」為題，發表演說，吸引了多國學者對音樂治療
及資優兒童的關注。
是次會議中，伍先生更巧遇幾位華人音樂治療師，包括北京的高天先生與台灣的李志真博士(現為美國
西車奧克世荷馬州立大學音樂治療系總監)，更出乎意料之外
的是認識了一位身居阿根廷的華裔音樂治療師林怡君小姐。
International Event --12th World
Congress of Music Therapy
It is the 12th World Congress of Music Therapy to be held every three
years. Music Therapists from all over the world would grab
the
opportunity to attend the congress as a platform to exchange the latest
information in the field of music therapy. Mr. Ng Wai Man has
participated in different workshops in the Congress in which not only
did these broadened his view, but also he had the chance to deliver a
seminar on the topic of "Music Therapy with Gifted Children for
Enhancing Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Quality of Life" which
attracted scholars' attention on the use of music therapy for gifted
children.
During the congress, Mr. Ng met up a few Chinese music therapists,
including Mr. Gao-Tian from Beijing, Dr. ChihChen Sophia Lee from
Taiwan (current Director of Music Therapy program in Southwestern
Oklahoma State University). Most surprisingly is to know Ms.
Fabiana Lin, a Chinese music therapist living in Argentina.
